Our faboulous host Andrea is an outstanding cook and showed us every day how to celebrate, to discuss and enjoy the art of cooking and preparing the food and beverages of Monferrato combined with some greetings from Tuscany. Every single course was prepared with heart and soul, with experience and excellence, with tradition and surprise. We felt like being at home at Caterina's and Andrea's. Beautiful hotel very thoughtful owner who cares a great deal. Lovely restaurant for lunch /dinner excellent food and wine. The hotel also has an outdoor pool whoch we did not exect and is great. Beautiful big room. Very clean and well presented.

The room was very special completed with a carpet and old-fashioned furniture (it was a pleasant surprise) and Sunday meat tasting with the common table created a very open-minded and friendly atmosphere, one of a kind experience! Top 10 stars!

Everything was absolutely perfect: the location is breathtaking, the staff went above and beyond to exceed our expectations, the food was simply amazing, everything was extremely clean with a lovely homey perfume. We felt at home and we will go back for sure. We also recommend booking the wine tasting, as it's a one of a kind experience which introduces you even more to the story of Canonica.
