This was an absolutely stunning historic property with 5 star facilities. Loved my day at the Beach Club . The staff on reception were always extremely friendly , helpful and informative . This is very important when you are a woman travelling alone . I’m very grateful for their help and u distancing . It was also quite amazing to see the beautiful ancient olive trees in the property - put 900years old . What an honour to be in their ( olive trees) company .

If you like peace, quiet, privacy, small hotels, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves, this is for you. There are just few places along Italy's coast where you can find such privacy right on the water's edge - it will never be crowded here, not even in the middle of August. Your shady, private patio touches the sea, you can jump in the water directly from you room. Rooms and bathrooms (we had 2 bathrooms in the room) are big, beds are comfortable, toiletries luxurious and plentiful. The private beach is ample, sunbeds comfy; if you need a pool, there are 5, one of which is heated, even in summer. Bar and restaurant are right on the water, food is delicious, seafood as fresh as can be. Service is excellent but discrete. Close enough to 2 airports to be worth even a short break. We would have loved to stay longer, though.

This place was fantastic! We had a difficult evening and the woman at reception was the most kind, helpful and caring person. We enjoyed breakfast and lying by the pool, was magnificent! Room was clean, comfortable and very beautiful. Would be back in a heartbeat!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and tidy. Very good breakfast. Well located. Monopoli is only 5 mins away by car, and the hotel was a good base from where we could visit other places in Puglia and Basilicata.

Customer service was excellent, Claudia (receptionist) couldn't do enough for us, she sorted our rooms as there was mix up with number of guests in room from Booking.com but Claudia sorted that out. She also helped with taxi services and helped organized a birthday surprise. She was helpful, professional and friendly, so would like to say Thank you Claudia for making a wonderful our stay at La Corvetta. The hotel itself was lovely and nice building, pool was a good size and location was also great as there are few restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was limited options but pleasant. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

    Monopoli is a really great vibrant little seaside town and makes an excellent base to explore Puglia. Only downside for summer 2025 at least is that the city beach is closed 😔 you can access the sea over rocks, or drive/take the train to areas with actual beaches.

    An interesting, historic and well preserved / maintained town with a number of great sights and places to visit all within walking distance. Many great restaurants, bars and cafes all serving excellent dishes, but at tourist prices.

    The old part of the city is fun to explore - two days at most Much of the newer part of the city you could skip Highlight of the trip was the boat tour to Polignare a Mare - small boat with 12 stops and time to swim in the Adriatic!

    Monopoli is very beautiful with good shops, good restaurants, good views, attractive white architecture, some nice beaches, boat cruises, and a few cultural interest things such as the cathedral, the museum under the cathedral and, on the same piazza, the Museo Diocesano.

    Monopoli was great city to stay in; small enough to have character and large enough to cater to all our needs. A perfect blend of tourism and every day experiences. Definitely one of our favourite spots in Italy so far. A highlight was dinner at a superb restaurant called My Wine right in the centre of the old town. We found some hospitality staff in restaurants and retail to be quite rude compared to other towns in Puglia but the service and food at My Wine was a huge standout!

    First of all - millions of thanks go to Cosimo. He is the best! It was completely enjoyable and trouble-free stay! Location is perfect, right near all the main attractions and at the same time quiet. Host is excellent - always there for you, responsive and caring. Place itself is nice and tidy and has everything we were looking for. We know where we going to stay in Monopoli next time around and that is this place! Cosimo - thank you heaps for our absolutely great stay in Monopoli!

    What we likes best was our host, Stefano. As a welcoming present we got a fresh Foccacia, that was really delicious! Die Apartment has a roof terrace that is always open for you, great to relax! It is also really close by to the centro storico, just about 10 minutes walking. Stefano also knows all the good places and was gibing us great recommendations. Monopoli is a beautiful city and Stefano helped us to get the best out of our stay!

    The apartment is compact, very comfortable and has the best air-conditioning! The location is exceptional, on one the beautiful historic streets of Monopoli and only a short stroll from the sea. The views from the roof top terrace are fantastic. Franca was a superb host, with her warm welcome and her delicious home made food, which was so unexpected. We loved our stay at Casa Roberto and would definitely return again.

    The location of the apartment is excellent, providing easy access to all the best parts of Monopoli and just a short walk to the beach. The apartment was absolutely clean and very well equipped. The tasteful decor and practical amenities made our stay extremely comfortable. The host was very friendly, always reachable, and gave us great tips for beaches and restaurants.

    Amazing accomodation in the best location . Communication was fabulous in regard to check in, and Matteo was amazing and drove us for a very early train on departure. I’m sure our room had one of the best views in Monopoli.
