    Laglio has not much to offer per se, it is a small village...

    Laglio has not much to offer per se, it is a small village on the Como Lake. But there are two restaurants, both of which are great value for money, down by the pier. Worth a stop. Actually two stops. 1. La locanda del Cantiere which is more sofisticated but worth it. 2. Osteria Vecchio Molo which is very nice, makes tasty food, at a good price and has super friendly service.

    Was a stunning and beautiful place to visit.

    Was a stunning and beautiful place to visit. Navigating around the place was not to difficult. Using buses and the train. However taxis can be difficult to get and when you do prices seemed to vary for same distance. Locals were helpful and friendly.

    Our hotel, San Marino, was on the main north south route...

    Our hotel, San Marino, was on the main north south route above the old lakeside road. To get a better impression we walked down what appear to be ancient alleys between old properties to reach the lakeside road which is more atmospheric. Good exercise too.

    The view from the terras is amazing. We had bad luck because during our 11 nights stay we had lots of rainy days, we were glad with so much space inside. It is very cosy, you will find everything you need in the kitchen. The shower on the top floor is good. And parking is also convenient. We would definitely return. Also we liked the communication with the host (and the owner). For us it was the first time in Laglio, we liked Da Luciano (bar at the lakeside, 5 minutes walk down the stairs). Try the steak and the meatballs.

    The apartment was fully equipped with everything I required for my stay. It was roomy and cozy, a real gem of a location right on the edge of Lake Como. There was ample parking and some nice local eateries within a ten minute walk of the apartment. The surrounding area was relaxing and quiet, but it was also only a short drive to Como itself. I would love to go back to Laglio above George.

    Lovely location overlooking Lake Como with beautiful views from the dining room, excellent value and very friendly helpful people. Huge choice for breakfast at a very good price and the service and food at dinner was excellent, pizza was delicious.

    The view of the Lake. After all we are in Lake Como. But facing the road, the view of the Lake on 1st floor is not the best.
