Was a pleasant surprise arriving at castelvecchio on the countryside. We only stopped as a pitstop from airport to Florence as we landed late, however we wished we had been able to stay longer as lovely views and comfortable house. The lady was also very accommodating. Enjoyed our stay.

The B&B is located in a very calm surrounding on a hill. The owner spontaneously cooked a very delicious dinner for us, since we had a problem with one of our bikes on our way uphill and were unable to drive to a restaurant for dinner. However, you should tell her in advance that you would like to have dinner there so she can prepare for this. Also the breakfast was amazing and the host herself was one of the nicest we ever had. The whole building is furnished and decorated with so much love and detail. I would definitely recommend a stay, if you like good food and antique furniture.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Agriturismo I Fondacci, and it was an experience beyond expectations. It was a fantastic stay. The facilities are super good, everything is clean and all is prepared for a pleasant stay. Fresh fruits, yougurts, water, coffee and even milk upon arrival, my children and I were very pleased.

    The couple who run the hotel and restaurant absolutely made my stay, they were wonderfully welcoming, helpful and fun. So much so that the few issues I would normally have (small shower, room decor etc) melted away under their charm. To be fair, they said that they are starting out and renovating as they go along so have plans to make changes to the rooms, which, to be clear were perfectly clean and comfortable. It was a great stay, great value for money, a lovely location and I would be delighted to come back and visit again.

    It was very postive suprise, premium hotel in the top of the mountain.Excellent. Big room with beautiful bathroom, not the typical italian one. Host was very,very kind, helpful. I can only recommend for everybody!

    Beautiful location in the mountains, from the hotel and eating area you have a view over the valley which is stunning. We had a comfortable room and the welcoming of the owner was nice.
