Really welcoming and cozy. Lots of space in the apartment, everything was new and really clean. Breakfast was amazing and the garden in front of the apartment was perfect to enjoy evenings and breakfast in the morning. Last but not least, the hosts invited us to a typical Puglian “aperitivo” the night we arrived, which made it perfect to immerse ourselves in the real Puglian and Italian culture.

Fantastic apartment in the center of lovely Gioia del Colle. Beautiful decorated and with a nice balcony. Good breakfast with a lot of options. The owner was very helpful, even though i didn't speak Italian, we managed to communicate. I highly recommend Dimora del Castellano.

Mandorla Amara is one of the best places we've ever had a chance to sleep in on Booking. absolute peace of the Italian countryside, singing birds, clucking hens - awesome. it is located in a great place, it is close to all the attractions of Apulia. The hosts are extremely nice, they will help you with everything, they will show you the best places to visit. the room itself is clean, warm, the bed incredibly comfortable, the bathroom clean, well-maintained, towels, cosmetics, hair dryer - everything is there. pleasant breakfasts provided on site, excellent coffee. You can also buy homemade wine on site - you must try it! We love everything about our apartament, next time, when we are in Puglia we will definitely stay at Mandorla Amara

    A charming town that I chose more for its location as a stop...

    A charming town that I chose more for its location as a stop for me along my route, but I was pleased to find myself in a friendly neighbourhood, only a short walk from a stunning little old town. I found a wonderful artisinal meat and cheese shop where I bought some additive-free prosciutto for a great price. Sadly, I didn't get the name of the shop as I'd thought it was on the carrier bag but it wasn't. Lots of beautiful art on doors and walls, and some charming cafes.

    Great place for all those who want to travel this area in Puglia. The historical city centre is charming, the old Svevian Fortress is impressiv. Good locations for lunch and fine dining. Altamura, Gravina, Puttignano, Matera, Martina Franca........everthing closed by

    Gioia del Colle is a wonderful town, with lots going on. We had a delicious dinner, trip to the theatre and a leisurely walk around town eating gelatos, and BnB Via Roma was the perfect base. It's centrally located, right down the street from the train station, with a fantastic balcony. The beds were amazingly comfy and Eugenio really looked after us. We had the most amazing one-night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. You're right by the church di Santa Lucia, which is worth a visit (after 4pm).

    Beautiful apartment in a beautiful square overlooking the church . We actually cooked our on meals here as the kitchen was so well equipped and the village is quite so sitting on the balcony in the evenings with a glass of wine was wonderful . We travelled to lots of different places during the day as the village is well positioned for days sightseeing
