The Hotel was just lovely. Such nice surrounding, with lots of greenery and all the property was very clean. The pool area was our favorite with the view to Etna and with all the lemon trees around it. We also had a room with the view to the pool and Etna, which was really nice. The stay felt really private since we were always alone by the pool although there were other people at the hotel also. Breakfast was really good and there was an option to order warm meals also. Absolutely loved our stay and would have wanted to stay even longer.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation. By far the best we had in Sicily. In 14 days we had an accommodation adventure in Sicily, but at this property everything is top notch with extremely high standards and only positive, pleasant surprises. The property is large, beautiful and really quiet, the facilities are new and exceptionally well maintained with great attention to detail. The place simply invites you to relax between lemon trees and palm trees in the pool or in the whirlpool, in good weather even with a view of Mount Etna (you even see eruptions from there). Our flat was very spacious, equipped with everything you need and clean. The welcome from the owner Lella was warm and simply fantastic, we immediately felt at home. We liked it so much that we extended our stay for another night. We were very well looked after by Lella and the staff, we wanted for nothing. The hospitality at this place is simply incredible. They speak English and even German. The breakfast is very varied and absolutely delicious, especially the coffee. And you can have fresh lemons and kumquats. Thanks also to Fausto for the great care, the recipe ideas and the picked fruit. All in all, this place is 100% recommended and we look forward to coming here again.

We loved everything about the apartment. Very nicely designed, very clean and with all the appliances we can imagine (there are 3 air conditioning units to ensure a nice temperature). On our 14-day trip across Sicily, this apartment beats all. There was even a basket full of fruit to welcome us. And all thanks to our hosts Andrea and Giusy who were extremely friendly and offered us help with all the questions we could think of around the city. Many thanks to both!

    Giarre and neighbouring Riposto are unspoilt small towns...

    Giarre and neighbouring Riposto are unspoilt small towns with few tourists. We were the only foreigners wherever we ate. La Tavernetta was our favourite. The seafood market in Riposto was a perfect source for the meals we cooked in our suite. Driving in Sicily is fun as long as you copy the locals. Use Apple maps for navigation - Google maps was useless.

    It's a small town by the sea...

    It's a small town by the sea... It's not very "touristy" but it's a perfect base to visit Taormina, the etna, Catania. Overall I would say it's more convenient then charming! The fish market, the port, the local park with playground and some seafood restaurants made our stay in Giarre more than ok!

    Giarre is not a great tourist attraction.

    Giarre is not a great tourist attraction. However it is a great center for touring East Sicily. We found it very strange that Sicilians keep to their siesta even in winter. After sunset when it got very dark and a bit cold, we did not feel like going to a restaurant (they open at 6 or 7). So we cooked our dinners. Good for us, bad for them.

    It was truly lovely to stay at this family-run hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home from the start. For the price, the hotel is a great value – clean, comfortable, and with everything you need. The pool area was definitely a big plus, perfect for relaxing during the day. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly kind and friendly. It really made the whole experience feel more personal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, budget-friendly place to stay!

    The apartment is very comfortable and equipped with all necessary. Has a safe parking. Beautiful views of Etna. It is way bigger than the pics show. Very nice, clean and modern. We spent lovely family Christmas week. Francesco was very helpful. Giarre had lots on and convenient location. Would recommend for a family stay.
