Very cozy hotel, close to the center of Termini station, which is very convenient. From the station you can go in any direction and see all the sights! (I walked all the time, shops, restaurants.) The room is spacious, cozy and clean! Very polite and pleasant service - many thanks to the administrators - all issues were resolved instantly) At the Astoria Golden Gate Hotel in the lobby there are vending machines with any coffee, water and snacks, it’s wonderful! In general, I really liked it!) I recommend this hotel to everyone, the staff and boss are the most friendly and positive guys ❤️

Old hotel with long tradition but very well maintained hotel; clean rooms; good air conditioning (August 2023); friendly and helpfull staff; close to Termini station; safe area; many restaurants around; metro station 3 min of walking; supermarket 2 streets away (5min walking). Breakfast was ok; especially freshly baked pastries. Brioches with Pistachio and Crema filling were fantastic. This is not the hotel issues; its more city of Rome issue - garbage/trash. Surrounding is drowning in trash. In front of the hotel is clean and also cleaning ladies separate the trash you made in room - very well done guys. This is the way you take care of your city! See ya soon again.

If you are lucky enough to meet Vlade at the reception, your stay in Rome will be fulfilled from early morning with pleasant conversations, many useful tips, you will have the opportunity to meet the secret place in Rome where you drink the best coffee, eat delicious pasta for an excellent price-quality ratio and feel the local spirit. We are very grateful for our wonderful experience and will definitely visit Rome and stay again in this hotel, among all other reasons, to see and spend some time with authentic people again! The staff were exceptionally friendly, and helpful in every respect. We had arrived early on the morning of check-in, and not only were we upgraded, but our room was made available to us within half an hour of our arrival. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and had good views of the surrounding area. The roof-top bar was a good spot, with lovely views. Breakfast was very good, with a selection of hot and cold options. Most importantly, the location was perfect, just a block away from the Metro, the various tourist buses, AND Roma Terminale. Highly recommended.
