Everything about this place was perfect. Beautiful little town with its own castle on top of a hill. The restaurant was incredible (and cheap) we ate so much of the delicious homemade food with ingredients from all around the town, even got a little treat for next day. One of the best meals we had in Italy so far. Hotel doubles as the local gathering point so it’s complete with an authentic atmosphere. Amazing stop after after a day of hiking.

This small hotel on the top of the mountain is awesome. Older, yet we'll maintained, clean, and incredible views. Breakfast is at the excellent restaurant ten minutes walk uphill. Other delicious meals are also available at the restaurant, and by US standards are affordable. There are roads and paths for trekking, and sports courts if you are interested. There is no pool. Because I was here in off season, there were fewer tourists, so they upgraded my room to one with a balcony and view!!

The hotel is situated on the hill top with beautiful views on Tuscany, surrounded by park and forest. It is beautiful, big hotel, consists of many buildings/wings. There is a pool, restaurant, and breakfast is held also outside on the terrace with amazing view. The breakfast is rich, various options also for vegan, gluten free or other diets. Room was beautiful, stylish, big, clean with coffee machine and with the balcony overlooking the valley. Very helpful and friendly staff, free parking is available but it is quite difficult to find it at first (especially in the evening). It was really an amazing stay.

    In Castello is located right behind the town hall of Gallicano, and there was free parking just a short distance away. the room was small, but charming, with the original stone walls of the property exposed in places. Our contact person, Chiara, was exceedingly friendly and helpful. she cleaned the rooms daily and quickly responded to my questions via text. We had a wonderful stay!!

    Breakfast not included. Ate in the restaurant one night which was vey good. Location was the main reason for choosing the hotel so from that point of view it was good.
