Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! Such a beautiful house situated on the top of a gorgeous Tuscan hill. Not only that, but the host Andreas was the kindest soul to every exist. He greeted us so warmly, offered us homemade wine, he let us borrow his umbrella for the beach and kindly washed our clothes. He’s literally an angel. Angel Andrea. We will most definitely come back. Wow, such a beautiful place! I fell in love with this place! The host was lovely and gave us great tips on villages to visit. It was really nice sitting under the lemon trees and eating breakfast. I will definitely come here again.

This place is truly amazing. It feels almost like traveling back in time and living the life they did hundreds of years ago. Almost no tourists, no nightlife, no shopping and no problems finding out where to eat - there is only one restaurant and it’s great. No TV, no minibar, no telephone, no elevator and internet works best high up on the castle walls. And the view from there is so fantastic you forget you were looking for a good internet connection. So, very little of our regular entertainment but almost all parts of the castle is available for you to investigate any hour of the day and night. You’ll get a set of keys to lock you in and out wherever needed. It’s like living in a museum and it get’s interestingly spooky at night. As mentioned the view will be beyond anything you could imagine and the sunset from the castle roof and walls is spectacular. Even without the regular hotel amenities the rooms have everything you need. Get off the grid and spend a few days here - you will not forget it unless your addicted to the loud nightlife and fancy cocktails. This comes highly recommended as an unforgettable experience. The staff is also friendly and helpful and they serve a great personalized breakfast.

Great place to stay in a very old restructured house. Perfect Italian welcome and very clean and modern room including exceptional water-jet full-size shower. Easy-access parking and not too far from all of the attractions in Versilia and South-Liguria and 10 min drive from Fosdinovo city! Recommended!

Liked everything about the hotel& restaurant: location, staff, cleanliness, service, the view!!! ,the food. Although you have to be a very good driver to get to the top of the hill where the hotel is located, once you get there it is all worth it.

    The location is ideal to combine a trip to Cinque Terre with some time on the local beaches, visit Luni Roman site (recommend) Carrara quarries and a day trip to Luca and or Pisa. There are some local restaurants, supermarket. EV charger was 6km away... Sarazana train station was closer

    It is extremely underrated. For the amenities you receive. It is a very well kept hotel and the staff couldn’t be better. The attached restaurant is a gem by itself but together it is magic. Thankful to have found this wonderful place and look forward to visiting again!

    We really enjoyed our stay at this authentic castle with...

    We really enjoyed our stay at this authentic castle with incredible views and overlooking/with access to the village below! The accommodations themselves were good in that you were in the castle with appropriate decor and an authentic, rustic, ancient feel. It was a really warm night, and that was the least enjoyable part of our stay. Maybe the best part was the incredible view from the ramparts of the castle and the access to explore this beautiful, historic property! It is a special place. The staff was the other standout as they were incredibly friendly and helpful and seemed to really care about the property and our experience there. We would definitely return and explore the area next time as I imagine that there are more interesting and beautiful places all around.

    Beautiful unique location in the historical mountain village Fosdinovo, which has events going on every weekend. Very calm, beautiful view, charming. Even though it was small, the place had everything important and the host was very accommodating, supplied little snacks and drinks at arrival and was available for questions.

    Beautiful view across olive groves with the sea in the distance. Swimming pool a welcome plus as the weather was warm. The restaurant was of a very high standard with a lower cost fixed menu for guests at the hotel including a vegetarian option.

    The pool. Location of the 'hotel' was great for a night stop when travelling further down into Italy as it is fairly close to the highway.
