The room was in new condition and clean. There was a hairdryer and a fridge in the room, also an air conditioner and everythink worked well. A rich breakfast buffet was offered, which ist not natural in sothern Italy, but important for us as cyclists. The personal was very friendly and helpful.

Everything about the property was great! Nadia was absolutely wonderful she helped with making plans for lunch and dinner and the breakfast she made for us daily was wonderfully delicious!! I will absolutely be coming back for another trip! Thank you so much Nadia for an amazing experience.

The accommodation was spacious.and quite comfortable for a couple, but with four of us and the only real seating being the sofa bed in the lounge area which was being used as the second bedroom, I would recommend getting some more comfortable seating for extra guests as seating was limited. The coffee machine was great, but a kettle and toaster would help as well. Our host was very helpful and even went out of his way to supply us with a bottle opener plus a lovely bottle of homemade wine which was much appreciated.

I met hospitable and kind people, and the village is easy to explore without much difficulty getting around... but the only negative thing I found was that there weren't any restaurants open during lunch and dinner hours.

I had booked a night on Booking.com because the next day we had an appointment in Isernia. We were surprised by this beautiful town of Fornelli, 500 meters above sea level, with a village (worth visiting) among the most beautiful in Italy.

One of the most beautiful villages in Italy, its historic...

One of the most beautiful villages in Italy, its historic center is easily explored on foot, truly charming and worth exploring. Around Fornelli, if you drive, you'll encounter other places of beauty and history, so I think Fornelli is an excellent starting point for exploring the area. The Abruzzo National Park is also nearby.

The Norman walls are beautiful, and the village is charming; perhaps the crowds are a bit too noisy, even at inconvenient times. The local and surrounding restaurants are charming. The village is a convenient base for exploring Molise.

A beautiful medieval village!!!!!!

A beautiful medieval village!!!!!! And not just the village itself, but its geographic location is superb: in the heart of the Volturno, with views stretching across the Mainarde, the area's distinctive mountains that form the natural geographic border with Abruzzo. An exceptional place to enjoy the tranquility, walks, clean air, and truly charming narrow streets!

My accommodation was quite far from the medieval village and...

My accommodation was quite far from the medieval village and therefore impossible to reach on foot. The roads leading to the old part of Fornelli were narrow and quite difficult to navigate by car. The old part of the village is charming, although very sparsely populated, and many buildings are semi-abandoned.
