I received a very warm welcome, even though I arrived early. The room was small but perfectly comfortable for one person. It was spotlessly clean. The view was of a street but this wasn't a beach holiday for me, so I didn't mind. The accommodation was close to the main piazzas, restaurants, bars etc.. As someone walking the Via Francigena, this was perfect for me. Thank you.

Actually the main picture did not attract my attention at the beginning.. did not looked cosy at all. But in reality the place is great. Everything is freshly renovated, warm and bright. Nice cappuccino for breakfast. :) The owner is very polite, welcoming and attentive. Perfect stay.

The accommodation is in an excellent location, only a short walk to the centre of Fondi. The host was welcoming and we had good communication in the lead up to our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious and good value for money. Breakfast in the local bar was great too.

    Fondi is my ancestral town.

    Fondi is my ancestral town. My mother and paternal grandmother come from Fondi. It is a lovely, small, friendly town, just loaded with ancient history. The best way to learn about a country, is to get to see how the locals live. It is the best experience. Fondi is older than Rome itself. It was a main town on the Via Appia, and the top wine producer favored by the emperors of Rome. Livia, wife of emperor Augustus was from Fondi. It sits in a plain at the foot of the Aurunci mountains, and the ocean. It is 15 minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy. Rome and Naples are a train ride away from Fondi. By car you can visit many local historical small towns and WWII sites, like Monte Cassino. Also available by bus or train.

    Fondi is a lively functioning town with all the faculties of a big city but the coziness of a village. It is close to both Rome and Naples for day trips. It is semi tropical and has lush vegetation and incredible fruits, vegetables and the fresh fish of course.

    We had a fantastic experience with the accommodation in Fondi. The apartment's close proximity to shops and the Castello was convenient, and the friendly and helpful host surely made our stay more enjoyable. The emphasis on cleanliness is commendable, and having fresh breakfast and the best coffee was delightful. We would definitely consider staying here again due to the great location and overall pleasant experience.

    Luisa was wonderful so kind. She picked us up at the station and dropped us on our return. She answered questions to help us find the local bus, always responding immediately to messages.She could not have done more. The room had a lovely basket of welcome chocolate and pastries and toiletries. It was a very good location, close to the castle in the centro storico.
