True luxury at all levels. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff giving guests the right attention. Excellent food in all restaurants. Gourmet dinner was really really great. Top location with an extraordinary view especially from the infinity cool which was heated. Shuttle service available which is a great added value. We had a wonderful time in the location! it is nice to have a break after very busy Portofino and Amalfi. The hotel was nicely decorated with ceramics made in the very same town, which makes it very authentic and pleasant. I would call the location is right on the beach, as it's located on the right side of the hill by the beach end. The hotel is located on the hill, so, be prepared to few steps to the entrance, yet, the hotel itself has an elevator. We had a great room with balcony and breathtaking view of the see and Amalfi coast! worth mentioning that the place has multiple sitting areas and patios, which allows the guest to enjoy the view. Rooms has air-conditioning, and sun protections, which was not of a need for us, as we visited in May, but would be very handy during the summer. The ferry is right on the beach, so you can take a short trips along Amalfi coast or to Capri.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Residence in Amalfi. The location couldn't be better - just a 5-minute walk to the ferry docks and right in the heart of everything. The convenience of having the beach just across the street was a definite highlight. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room exceeded my expectations in terms of size and cleanliness, making my experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was tasty.
