Breakfast, with coffee of your choice, being served in the grecian-like garden is spectacular. Similarly an afternoon spent on the rooftop terrace, by the pool, with jazz music playing is just wonderful. The rooms are simple, but clean and secure. The staff are a real highlight - they go above & beyond to be helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Castello Conti Is a hidden gem in the inlands of Salento. Is places at the core of the village, 30 min driving from the sea side. Although the village is very small and not much to see, the castle in itself is very well taken care off, the staff welcoming and friendly, the amenities and rooms impeccable. We particularly loved the spacious rooms. It was such a pleasant surprise.

One invaluable suggestion - follow the host's directions to reach the villetta because the alternative is a rough path until you reach proper roads. However, if you reach the villetta through Torre Santa Susanna, it is no problem at all.
