We stayed there only for two nights. We've been skiing in Madesimo and sleeping in Chiavenna. We didn't spend a lot of time there. We were just passing on our way to sankt moritz, and had to stay, because of a heavy rain. We found a last minute offer in Pianazzola, which is a small village above Chiavenna. That place was absolutely stunning. Old stone houses, beautiful views, magical atmosphere. The best host I have ever met by far. The apartment was in pristine condition, freshly renewed, very comfortable, quiet and is located in the heart of Chiavenna. I cannot recommend this enough.
