Amazing stay in Capezzana region. The room had a very nice view overseeing the vineyards. The place has a history and you should definitely experience the winery tour and explore the cellars. Very good and tasty dinner choices and start your day with the pistachio croissant. Certainly a 10/10

Ricardo and Carla were extremely kind, hospitable, and friendly. I was travelling with my mum and away for a couple of days for a friend's wedding and they really helped us out with organising transport links with local taxis. Very grateful to them for making our stay so comfortable! The room was very clean and cosy and the view is simply stunning.

First and foremost, Isabella! What a kind and thoughtful host she is! The location of the property is ideally situated. Close to La Rocca, where you can appreciate a breathtaking view of the Tuscan countryside. We liked the history of the house and the antique decor of our room. It used to be an ancient monastery and you can still see a few signs from that time. Our private bathroom was recently renovated. A must do if you stay a couple of nights, is the private dinner experience in the tour of the house. The chef is Isabelle herself, and we’ve had the most wonderful 360 view over the Tuscan sunset while enjoying one of the best pasta dishes! Very reasonably priced given the authentic experience. Grazie mille, Isabella!

    The place is well located on the hills of Tuscany with lovely views from the nice rustic room. The big infinity pool overlooking the valley is lovely. There are some walking/hiking routes from the hotel which allow you to enjoy the area without much driving. Restaurant was OK with good meat dishes and Davide (the waiter) was helpful too. Team was helpful with a late check in, taxi bookings and printing some documents which we really appreciated, BUT...

    This is our 2nd time this year staying at San Michele . Its a charming family run hotel comfortable and simple. The staff there could not be more attentive or helpful. Carmingnano is a really nice village with a few good local restaurants and bars away from the pulsating throng of Florence and incredible art and culture which is not far away.

    Staff, location, breakfast, wine selection: PERFECT! When staying there for a business trip, then breakfast hours is a little late but the staff was super kind and opened up for the breakfast a little earlier. Beds was TOO soft! Cleaning was very nice! Will 100% stay here the next time we are in Prato, which is normally 3-4 times a year.

    The host at the hotel was lovely. It has a wonderfully friendly family feel. Like you are being welcomed into someone’s home. Very Italian. My friend and I loved it! There is also a restaurant which door which serves utterly delicious food. It was a great find. We’d go back for sure. The rooms are a brilliant size and very comfortable.
