Great hotel and a very friendly and accommodating host. We were pleased with everything in our room and the common areas. Everything was clean; the room was spotless with fresh sheets, a comfortable mattress, and nice pillows. The water pressure in the shower is great, and the shower also has a rain mode which was nice. The common terrace is great with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and you can even see a glimpse of the Mediterranean from there. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the hotel experience overall. Having a car is a must here. We didn't have one, and even though walking to the Carini train station was doable, it wasn’t ideal. The route lacks sidewalks in some parts which makes walking potentially unsafe if you’re not very cautious. Our host was mindful of this as well and recommended we get a rental car—in hindsight, we definitely should have followed his advice!

I had the pleasure of staying in the suite hosted by the wonderful and warm-hearted Mrs. Vita. The suite included a spacious bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a private balcony, and an adjacent living room equipped with a coffee machine, complimentary mineral water, and a refrigerator. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, and everything was impeccably clean. One of the highlights was the bed — exceptionally comfortable with a mattress you simply won’t find in most hotels. It truly made all the difference. Another great advantage is the location — just a short distance from the airport, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Vita for her hospitality. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, quiet, and genuine care. Seriously, I couldn't recommend this place more. Honestly, if they are available, do not hesitate to book right away. I travel a lot, and I have never come across a more helpful, friendly and hospitable host. I only booked it for one night, because I wanted to stay close to the PMO airport to make it easier to catch an early morning flight. The property is in Carini, which would normally be easily approachable by train from central Palermo, however, unfortunately, there happened to be a train strike on the day we were supposed to get to Carini. We struggled for a while to find alternative ways of transport and I casually mentioned it to the host, just asking if he knows what's the easier way to get to the property. He couldn't have been more helpful and without hesitation offered to pick us up and give us a lift. Not only that, but he also kindly invited us to his bakery on the way, to meet his lovely wife and have some delicious cakes. He truly got us to experience incredible hospitality and generosity and we couldn't be more grateful for helping us out so much and making our day! I also have to mention, that the location of the property was right by an incredible side of the coast, just a few minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches, with a huge shoreline stretching for miles, much larger than the city beaches, and quieter and perfect for surfing and taking relaxing seaside walks, definitely would've stayed for a few days if we had more time left. The property itself was also in an impeccable condition, everything brand new and spotless. Thank you so much for everything again and we hope to visit again in the future :)))

I can definitely recommend Le Métro if you would like to stay close to Palermo city, or if you need to stay close to the airport. We had an early flight, so just stayed for one night. The location of this B&B couldn't be more convenient; literally a few steps from the Carini train station, right in front of the station. We jumped out of bed, rolled ourselves to the train station, bought our train tickets and 10 minutes later we were at Palermo airport. The host of Le Métro, Mariana, is a wonderful person who answered all of our questions. Because of our early flight, we couldn't make it to breakfast, so Mariana suggested preparing food for us as a takeaway. After we took the train to the airport, she even sent a message asking if we were alright and if we managed to take the train. So attentive! We will definitely return here on our next trip to Palermo. Furthermore, the room was ultimately clean, smelled very nice, and was very convenient for two persons. If you come by car, you can park your car free of costs right in front of the building. There was plenty of space.

Very close to airport by back road, great to be met and personally welcomed at 9.15 (after delay picking up car), excellent small apartment with coffee machine and buns for breakfast.
