Maria and her team were amazing hosts. We were a big group (this was a family get-together) and they were always willing to help in any way they could - they definitely went the extra mile to accommodate our many varied requests, and always with a smile! The rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is delicious and plentiful!! A perfect way to start the day. La Bussola is a couple of kms away from the beach but they willingly transported us back and forth as needed. We would definitely return! Thank you Maria and team for an absolutely wonderful stay!

Very kind and friendly staff. A wonderful, large, and clean swimming pool with a stunning sea view, and comfortable apartments. The beach is nearby — the coastline and water are absolutely clean. You can either walk to the beach or use the hotel’s shuttle service, which runs back and forth throughout the day. The hotel also has a bar and a restaurant. You can easily reach a beautiful nearby town and stroll through its charming streets, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and various shops. There is also a fantastic sandy beach there. We will definitely come back again!

We stayed here 5 nights and it was the best 5 days of our holiday! The hotel has its private beach and the sea is amazing! The kids also enjoyed the swimming pool. From every angle of the resort you can see the spectacular sea view and Stromboli island. The breakfast and dinner was delicious. The hotel staff was very helpful and nice. Definitely we will be back next year!

Wonderful! Gardens and pools are amazing, we wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was very good, with a lot of options, there was fresh fruit and omelettes, croissants and delicious cakes. Pasta, meat and fish are cooked and served in front of you, everything is fresh and tasty.

Sea is amazing and beach is clean and not too crowded. Staff was very welcoming and helped us with everything, kind and polite people. Even when we had a complicated situation with other guests they helped us to solve it. Prices in restaurant and bar are very reasonable. Also you can rest near swimming pool so this way it’s more quiet than on the beach

great sea for snorkeling but sometimes jellyfish on Grotticelle beach (very painful for kids) - in Tropea no jellyfish and calm sea all the times. in summer has the area problems with water supply - before check-in ask the owner of the property of the state of water in the tanks (we had bad luck in July, our apartment ran out of water twice a week - very stressful) the beaches of Capo Vaticano are available by car (parking is for 1,50 Eur/hour) or on foot 20min walk downhill (but up the hill in hot weather is guite a challenge) snorkeling in this sea is like in an aquarium :-)

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and spacious.

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and spacious. The wifi and speed was amazing. The food was good. The breakfast was not entirely free as the website suggests. The lunch buffet was delicious and loved the female bartender at the snack shack by the pool who helped us. The hotel was not a 4 star as it states and the neighbourhood surrounding the hotel is poor and run down, not safe to walk around at night. There is no iron available for hotel guests. The hotel pool needs to be fixed and maintained. The tiles are missing throughout the pool and the pool has algae growing on the side tiles. The beach made up for the pool. We had to buy towels as the hotel did not supply towels for pool/beach, 10 Euros a towel at the local market. The ocean floor is rocky and slimy and its very difficult to get in. We were not prepared to deal with the rockiness of the beach and needed to buy water shoes.

It’s our first time in Calabria as a big family. The apartment and our host are just amazing! I participated in a diving course and finished one the day of checkout. Francesco is so kind he let us check out later than the usual checkout time. My wife really wants to stay for another day but unluckily our hotel in Lamezia cannot be cancelled. Will definitely come back in the future. Recommend this apartment for every one visiting capo Vaticano.

Our spacious room featured a gorgeous terrace with a view of Stromboli in the distance. We ordered an excellent, reasonably priced wine from downstairs and enjoyed a spectacular sunset. The restaurant downstairs was family friendly, offered great value, and featured a large team of staff. While we enjoyed the pasta, the wood oven pizza looked wonderful, too. Overall, this was our favourite accommodation during our week in Calabria.

after flightdelay of around 35 min found airport transfer driver wating for us, were we had 75min drive from Lamezia to Capo Vaticano. We arrived late due to delay and on the way to the residence we had a calla from the, and explained all this and stated the new expected time of arrival. We exhausted had to wait another 45min for the person bring us the keys.
