We had a room with balcony and sea view. It had dual aspect windows, with views up the coast and out to sea. Very beautiful. You could hear the sea lapping at night if you kept the window open. The balcony was a good size and lovely for sitting on,. The location can not be more perfect. I liked the inside and outside eating areas. The hotel serves excellent food and offers a 10% discount for dinner. There is a wonderful outside eating area on a terrace overlooking the sea. We were also offered complementary prosecco both times we ate. Breakfast is pretty good, with boiled eggs, ham and cheese, and on one day we had a lovely fruit salad. Cakes and pastries were very good. There was brown and white bread. The hotel is colourful and quirky, and is even nicer than it appears in the photos. I liked that there were lots of books and guides around the hotel to be used by guests. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a coffee machine in the room, but as there was no facility for boiling water, the staff obligingly provided me with hot water for tea. The free WIFI was excellent.

Very spacious, deluxe double room with stunning sea and sunrise view from its balcony. Walking distance to the promenade but be prepared for walking uphill due to the town topography and the hotel location. Good continental breakfast and evening a la carte dinner. Super friendly staff. Very clean room and hotel premises. Lots of parking space available. Highly recommended.

The hotel was right in the centre of the promenade over looking the sea. The views were amazing. The hotel staff were exceptional and ensured that our stay was firsts class. We ate at the hotel restaurant two nights during our stay and the food was excellent. The cocktails at the end of the day were an added bonus!

    Cala Gonone is a nice little village with a wonderful promenade. You can find everything you need for a summer vacation there - restaurants, shops, well-organized boat trips around the bay. I definitely recommend visiting it.

    Vey nice little town.

    Vey nice little town. It was near the hiking trails to Gala Luna. quite a lot of people, but not so busy in September. Hotel staff said that it is much more in summer months. There were nice clean beaches in town and near by.

    We went to Cala gonone to visit the famous beaches via boat from the port but the weather let us down unfortunately, not much else to do although it’s a beautiful place and we were only there for 2 days

    It is a lovely area with a multitude of beaches, friendly people, and plenty of restaurants. It is a long way from the airports, but the roads are good and so the 80 minute drive from Olbia isn't onerous. A parasol or some other sun shelter is a must (although it is possible to hire parasols on some beaches) - the sun is very intense and shade can be difficult to come across on many beaches, especially those accessible only by boat.

    A very nice place to go for beaches. enjoyed the boat trip. Would like to take another one with smaller boat if we stay one more day. It was less crowded in May. Wish there were more info on hiking trails. Good restaurants: San Francisco - reasonable price Ristorante 4 Mori - fancier placement of food, more expensive, long wait for the food to arrive.

    Good location for boat tours with pleasant waterfront walks to nice beaches. Good starting point for spectacular drive to Baunei. Plenty of eating options. The usual steep and narrow streets to make driving and walking challenging.

    We just adored our stay here. This little hotel was so perfect for our stay in Cala Gonone! The location could not be better- so central to everything. The balcony and view of the Main Street is so cute. The owners are so lovely, helpful and so accomodating. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, aircon was fantastic and everything worked perfectly. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much for our stay!!

    The hotel is located on the hills above Cala Gonone with stunning views of the bay and the mountains. It's the perfect location for any activities like hiking, climbing, biking or anything on the sea. Close to an excellent agriturismo place. The terrace with a pool and stunning vista really surprised me . The staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

    One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. There was an excellent complimentary buffet breakfast which we weren't expecting and the staff were wonderful - waited up for us when our plane was over 3 hours late. Hopefully the very nice restaurant will be fully open soon.

    Really great property ideal for a short stay in Cala Gonone. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Location is perfect, walkable to loads of lovely restaurants, cafes and pier for taking boat trips. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Would absolutely recommend & return.

    Best accomodation in Sardinia.If you want to stay in Cala Gonone I recomand Monolocale Marizzola.Even though Maria doesn’t speak english, she was very helpful and we had everything we needed.She also gave us some tip where to book a trip to visit Costa Baunei.
