    We visited in Winter - lovely view of the alps all around...

    We visited in Winter - lovely view of the alps all around the town. The main attractions are the Sacre San Michele and the Roman Castillo are stunning and very worth visiting. We also enjoyed a walk around the old town, and also around the lake - stopping for a cocktail and to watch the sunset.

    Beautiful historical town with lots of things to do like...

    Beautiful historical town with lots of things to do like walk to the Costello and the lakes. There are also lots of possibilities to explore the Val di Susa from Avigliana. There are also several restaurants in the piazza of the historical centre of town and all the amenities you’ll need close by.

    Well preserved, very interesting old town; limited number of, but good, restaurants; beware of narrow streets in old town. Ate in ristorante San Michele Have to visit the nearby Sacra diSan Michele monastery - dates to 10 c.

    We had to leave the room and the hotel immediately because we were ATTACKED BY MANY WEIRD INSECTS THE MOMENT WE OPENED THE WINDOW. We killed some of them, but they kept coming from inside the bottom hole of the door. The owner didn’t at all, he was RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! He REFUSED to refund us and SHOUTED at us! We are now taking this matter to TWITTER.

    Good location, bigger room than I expected. Other guests have mentioned the noisy road but we were on the side away from the road and that was very quiet. Excellent pizza restaurant in the hotel, very busy so you need to book! They don't do breakfast but we had a good one a couple of km away. Very good value for money!
