Everything - easy to find with clear signage, the hosts were lovely people, comfy beds, the room was spacious and extremely clean, shower had very good water pressure and was warm. Its about 15 min from Selfoss so really close to amenities but secluded at the same time. There is a fridge in the room for your own food, kettle and tea and a welcome biscuit. Easy parking just out front. We came a bit late around 10pm so didn't see the full kitchen but in the common corridor for the 2 guest rooms, there is a microwave and plates and cutlery for use probably because of those late check ins and snacks. So thoughtful!

It's an old farm, the guestrooms are located in a separate new building. Rooms are ensuite which is not that common in Iceland in this price range. They have provided eyeshades and ear plugs which is a nice gesture (altough I did not need to use them). Reception / breakfast is is a separate building, the breakfast was well worth the additional 2.000 ISK. There are tea and some other drinks also that are available free of charge throughout the day. The mostly Polish staff was nice and attentative. There is nothing in the immediate vincinity of the farm, but you can reach all major sights in the golden circle area by car easily. The guesthouse is also a good base to explore the area with Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls and all the sights up until Vik. The closest town is Selfoss, there you'll find petrol stations, cheap shopping options (Bonus) and also the local public bath is worth a visit (or even two). Urriðafoss is a hidden gem, a nice waterfall, you can reach it from the guesthouse on a gravel road, you should not miss that (also reachable directly from road 1 if you or your car would not prefer gravel roads that much).

The hosts were amazing. This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

This is a fantastic place. Clean, friendly, close to everything. The breakfast was great and the dining place very charming. The young receptionist Julian was an amazing host who also gave us excellent travel tips. We very much recomend this place.

It's a great place if you want to get away from town.

It's a great place if you want to get away from town. It's a family-run business that has converted their farm into guesthouses and a restaurant with a lounge area and games room. The staff are incredibly friendly and always available, even late at night.

Very pleasant lady owner.

Very pleasant lady owner. The room is cozy and perfectly clean. There is an electric kettle and several teas and biscuits prepared. During a stay of several nights, the supply of teas is replenished and baskets are brought out. I definitely recommend it.

Everything was very clean and tidy, even the surrounding area. The only drawback is that you have to take your shoes off to enter the building where the rooms are located (they provide slippers).
