Beautiful property, very friendly and helpful staff, just a very comfortable and relaxing place to spend a few nights. The food was locally sourced from the property and the beer was excellent. I would 100% stay again!

Quiet, stylish and calm. The pleasant surprise was hot bath with a lake view and warm bathrobes. Breakfast was also good with a fresh home-made omelette (not very common in other hotels). Staff was very nice and helpful.

Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village.

Loved this place and our host. Added bonus of a sauna and a hottub and some delicious homemade icelandic bread. Perfect stop over when travelling the ring road and only 5 minutes from the majestic Hengifoss. I do hope life brings us this way again.

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away.

We saw an amazingly big and lasting Aurora borealis. Great place to catch it. It lasted so long we could hop in the jacuzzi and watch it from there. The house and the area is comfortable and cute Overall an amazing experience, all about this house is 10/10

This hostel is super cute with lots of decorations outside which make it looks like very cozy. Inside you have a super nice common area (separated from the bar, so it is not noisy at all) with a very good taste furniture (I loved the old sewing machine!). We were in a triple room and beds were comfortable and well sound isolated. Kitchen was a bit small for all guests, but we managed. Showers and bathroom were clean.

Super fresh, clean, new and comfortable. Small guesthouse with only 5 rooms Well organised. Traveling with a child, the free Disney+ and chocolates in our room was a welcome bonus 😉
