Free parking and is in a very quiet area near the river and in the middle of the mountains. It’s very beautiful in the morning when the mist is covering parts of the mountains. It’s natural. The location is not very far from Blonduos which restaurants and other amenities are.

The pool and the hot tub are amazing. The staff is very friendly. And it’s great to sleep at a place which has a real history. The hotel was a school previously. We loved it and would definitely come back!

This has to be the cleanest, most comfortable cottage I’ve been staying at in Iceland. Everything is perfect! Checking in and out was very easy, I had full privacy (the cottages are based on a farm but it felt like I was alone on the property), the view is amazing, and the kitchen is more than perfect! I was especially happy with the fantastic coffee machine; real beans, real coffee, so much better than these instant machines. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure! The location is perfect also: only ten minutes away (by car) from the nice village Blönduós, where you can go to the swimming pool, get your groceries, eat out and have beautiful walks (make sure to visit the bird island when it’s open, and also take a walk to the sea through the park!) Don’t hesitate to book!

This place was very fun to stay at - there are horses on site and the world's friendliest canine greeter! The location is great - ocean view and very close to beautiful sites. The owners are welcoming. It apparently used to be a school before it was a hotel. Rooms are clean, breakfast was good, and location can't be beat. I loved getting to see horses our our window!

This was my favorite stay in all of my Iceland trip. The guesthouse was very modern, exceptionally clean, and the attention to detail in the amenities was apparent. The host Sonya was extremely friendly and the breakfast included homemade breads. Common areas were comfy as well.
