We loved everything about this place. The farm to table food and dinner buffet is so delicious. I love their focus on sustainability too. It's amazing that you can do horse riding right here, although I didn't have time during this stay. There are waterfalls close by, including one of our most faves of the trip, Glugafoss. The staff are so friendly and helpful too. An added bonus was the puzzles, pool table and games in the common area for evening activities. It was about an hour drive to the main area like Vik, but worth the drive and the stay.

It was a fabulous stay.

It was a fabulous stay. Rooms were comfortable, but best parts of the stay were the grounds and facilities. Sitting in the dining room overlooking the grounds was such a unique exprience, and the kitchen was well equipped.

The best thing about it is the place itself; it's very well-maintained. They clearly prioritize customer well-being, and it shows in their dedication. As an idea, the option of visiting the farm and seeing the animals would be a great activity for children and adults alike, but that's just my opinion, and we have to understand that it's their job.

The place is beautiful, very well-maintained, and the views...

The place is beautiful, very well-maintained, and the views are incredible. The airplane and one of the waterfalls are very close and easily accessible by car. We ate in a nearby village. The location is remote, but the peace and quiet are priceless.

Spacious, self-contained ground-floor apartment with an incredible view of the farm. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The three bedrooms and the shower were quite large. However, there was no contact with the farmers, and there was a slight lack of kitchen utensils (salad bowl, ladle, cutlery). Note that you should plan to do your grocery shopping beforehand (25-minute drive).

Wonderful welcome, fantastic breakfast, beautiful views. Perfectly equipped house. The staff were incredibly friendly. The best part: the spectacular sunset on the porch and breakfast on the enclosed terrace.
