This place is like from a post card, located on top of the hill with nice view, next to nice church. Room was spacious and clean and there was also a hot tub and common rooms available for relaxation. Great hotel restaurant was also a nice place to have some food and drinks in.

The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.

Perfect location and not too far from Reykjavík. We had a pleasant stay and are already planning our trip back there :) The weather did not allow us to see aurora but the stars made up for it ! And omg the dogs were the friendliest of all dogs, they came by our cabin a lot and our son loved them. The place was clean and there were enough towels for our stay which we loved.

It's at a super convenient location within the Golden Circle. It's a easy 1h drive from the KEF airport. Driving to any scenic spots are verg easy and quick. The scenery is also amazing. There were a group of horses that often roam around the grass afar, we can see them from our window.

We had the perfect stay in Heathland lodge. The location is beautiful, It is modern, clean and very private, exactly what we were looking for. We LOVED the hot tub, and the views from it. The kitchen is well equipped and the location was easy to find with the photo the owner provided.

Without exaggeration, this property is very Dirty and unkept...

Without exaggeration, this property is very Dirty and unkept, there was fecal matter on the underside of the toilet seat, the floors were dirty and there was only 1 face towel and no other towels for 4 adults. mattresses were old and too soft, pillows all but useless. at 16:40 they sent and email that reception would close at 17:00. we had a hard time finding the room, other guests helped us. there was no phone to get service (clean the room or change it, get clean towels, etc.) breakfast was mediocre. before leaving at 10:00 I went to the reception but office was closed until 11:00. the experience was very disappointing and the hosts non existent and oblivious to the guests. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!
