I was really impressed by how comfortable and well-equipped is this location. Starting with the staff who were very friendly, continuing with the location of the hotel, which is to 5 minutes from the beautiful Skógafoss waterfall. The hotel has a restaurant with a great panorama towards to the waterfall. The food is delicious and varied. Warm greetings and many thanks to Octavian from restaurant for his kindness and pleasant conversation.

wonderful hotel in a beautiful location! It was very cozy there, a cool terrace overlooking the waterfall, a huge kitchen with everything you need and a cool view! And from my bedroom there was a magnificent view of the beautiful mountain! Clean and tidy!

Plenty wonderful places to visit and things to do. About favourite place it was hard to pick one. I was eating dinners at UMI hotel they have an excellent quality dinners. At times I enjoyed Black Crust Pizza in Vik and a great side road bakery. Claiming , hiking, buggy riding adventures .

Rooms are ok , with enough space, a small table and a chair, a small sink and a wardrobe. Toilets and showers are clean and practical and the kitchen is well equipped and big enough, there is also two more common areas, a room with some sofas and another one with tables for eating.

Just breathtaking waterfalls.

Just breathtaking waterfalls. Plan some more time and hike the trail further towards the top. You will have less people there since majority of the visitors are staying at the main waterfall, but what comes after 30 minutes of hike is even better.

Skogafoss is nice, but loses some of its charm due to overcrowding of tourists. I suggest a walk on the path that starts from the top of the stairway (appropriate footwear is required). In the first 3-5 kilometers there are wonderful and wild landscapes and falls

Skogafoss is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, impressively large, and if there is even a little bit of sunshine, there will be a rain bow in front of the falls. The town of Skogar includes a noteworthy folk history museum.

I was there in June, it was raining so we were looking for place with the heater to dry our clothes. The heating was working very good! The room was very clean and it had the sink, shower was at the corridor but wasn't busy. The place is located few hundred meters from beautiful Skogafoss. The breakfast was modest but still good to have within the price! I really recommend the place! I loved the field with sheeps next to the hotel.

We shared a 4 people room and it was very comfortable. Room and bathroom was clean, beds were comfy, restaurant was close in case we wanted something extra. Breakfast is very good, with enough options to choose from. The location is 5 minutes from Skogafoss waterfall, so a big plus for that! I would stay here again

Clean and tidy. Restaurant is really good, staff is amazing. Complementary candy was a sweet touch. The highlight of my trip was seeing a whale on the beach very close to the shore.

Hotel Drangshlid is conveniently just off route 1 in a very quiet, scenic location. Our room was clean and comfortable and the restaurant was nice. The included breakfast was ok.
