Spacious and relaxed family run hotel set off the road in its own grounds. Lots of places to sit and drink a quiet coffee. Helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We were stranded for an extra day by a storm that closed the main road. Staff were helpful and reassuring to all guests and arranged for us to stay an extra night without any problem.

The house is extremely clean, nicely decorated and furnished with new and beautiful pieces of furniture. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The host are kind, available and extremely helpful. The atmosphere in the house is lively and cozy at the same time. The homemade breakfast is delicious and filling. Many typical Icelandic dishes available.

The guesthouse is located between mountains and the sea in Iceland breathtaking southern coast. The couple running it are helpful and sweet and their homemade breakfast was delicious! There was no problem arriving later than 9 pm, just a quick phone call to let them know. The guesthouse is very spacious and clean, though the individual rooms are basic.

Nice location for exploring the South of Iceland. Only 30 minutes from Hofn with shops and restaurants and half an hour from Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. Nice guesthouse with nice staff, good breakfast and comfortable rooms.

Exceptional breakfast with very large range of food included in price. Large room. Very interesting to see the whale skeleton and stuffed bird collection in the hotel
