The annual music festival was great as ever with fine...
The annual music festival was great as ever with fine program and performing artists. The new church has outstanding acoustics and do not forget do have a glance at the old church from 1887 and the Snorri Sturluson bath originated from 13th century.

We stayed about 20 min away in a private chalet.
We stayed about 20 min away in a private chalet. But there is a hotel there, location is good if you want to explore the western section of Iceland. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss.
We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss. We loved Krauma and seeing the Deildartunguhver Hot Springs. We ate at Hotel Á and the Rock 'n' Troll restaurant--also one I would recommend.

Everything was great.the information and the facilities. One of the best holiday homes I have rented. Everybody (8 persons) was over excited. Formidabele bedrooms with a bathroom in every room. Perfect sauna and hottub. And especially the living room was very good decorated with perfect furniture and luxurious. If you visit Iceland this house is very recommended especially because it's location is perfect. We stayed here for two days. But we could spent the complete week here :-)

In one word..EVERYTHING! The house is amazing. A beautiful place to stay in a great location for exploring Iceland. The hosts were brilliant and have set the highest standard! It will be hard to find another place to match Holt Villa!

Dogs are friendly and well behaved: Bokã is a distinguished gentleman of a doge. I love seeing Scottish collie dogs on Icelandic farms
Beds comfy, lounge comfy. Breakfast good, clean, showers good. Staff friendly.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, They had a great spa with 2 hot tubs and 1 cold plunge,steam sauna ,regular sauna. They had a great breakfast and dinner at the restaurant in the hotel.
