Outside view and interior is totally different. The room is fantastic with great views. Location is very deep in and road is difficult to drive. Kitchen facilities and bathroom are good.

Good road to the hostel. There is no kitchen but there is a coffee corner where you can make coffee or tea, brew something with boiling water, for this there are dishes and cutlery, a kettle. Largest bathroom out of 7 accommodations we booked in Iceland! We were so impressed by the home decor and how Cosy it was. A nice touch of icelandic tradition everywhere you look. Breakfast was basic but just enough. Staff was very accommodating. Location was perfect for us to drive to jokulsarlon during the night to go watch the aurora. I really recommend this place. Parking just outside (for free) even the towels were embroider with their emblem (I’m a sucker for the little details) the common area is so beautiful too!
