Helpful host, clear direction. Nice house surrounded by expanse view. Big parking area, easy to find. Big space in additional living area. When we booked, the property clearly state about bathroom. Like the kitchen and dining area is separated. ( can also eat inside kitchen area too) Situated nearby main road but feel solitude, which is nice. Great price & value overall.

The property was amazing, such a lovely modern, well-equipped villa, literally in the middle of nowhere, yet just a ~30 min drive from the closest town! It's rare to say this on Booking, but in reality it is better than what you see on the photos. 10 of us stayed there for 2 nights. Super easy to communicate with the hosts and to get in - there is a lockbox at the door. The villa was squeaky clean, the rooms and beds super comfortable and the kitchen is impeccably equipped with everything you don't even know you might need. The highlight, of course, is the outdoor hot tub, which can comfortably fit 12 people. Watching the northern lights from there was quite literally a life-changing experience. The hosts were super nice and easy to communicate with, also shared with us a a super helpful information pack about the area and what we can do while we are there. 11/10 would recommend!

Spacious, clean and the host is helpful. There’s a big window inside the room which is great. The house gives you a vibe of lonely planet lol. Love here We didn’t have enough hot shower for 8 people but I guess that’s one of our members taking too much hot water away. Host answered me pretty fast, and send lovely parent here to check. Sodulsholt Cottages evokes the story of a real Icelandic family, which preserves and nurtures the tradition of breeding Icelandic horses. On the farm, litlle friedns of horses are adorable cats and dogs. The warm family atmosphere gave us the feeling of a home from which we did not want to leave. If you want to interact with owners, see horses, ride them or similar, just ask. Here you will find tranquility, peace and untuched true nature. Explore the west fjord of peninsula, it is worth it!! We did our shopping in Borgarnes, Bonus market, which is 50 km away if you are coming from Rejkjavik direction. Watch out because there is no closer market. We are only sorry that we were not able to see the aurora borealis due to the clouds. Excellent equipment of the house, warm and cozy, equiped with everything you need so that you don't have to worry about anything for a few days. Ideal for a family with two children, warm, very clean with all equipment and parking in front of the house. There are 3 other cottages next door, but you have enough peace and privacy. Check in/out at any time of the day, because the key is on the wall next to the entrance door with the code.
