The location was amazing, you could see right across to the glaciers from the cabin window. Stefan was very friendly when we met him and let us know we had a chance of seeing the northern lights! We saw them and the view from the cabin was beautiful. The bed was really comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The water was really warm for the shower and the cabin was kept toasty warm too!

Great hostel on the way of the Ring road. The room is clean and private bathroom, friendly staff at reception but it is important to keep in mind that the reception is open until the specified hours. Good road to the hostel. There is no kitchen but there is a coffee corner where you can make coffee or tea, brew something with boiling water, for this there are dishes and cutlery, a kettle. Absolutely stunning location, I can’t emphasise this enough. We were lucky enough to experience some of the aurora borealis just a short drive from the guesthouse. The rooms are very clean and warm in the winter, and the breakfast included in the price is a real plus and, from our experience, this is quite rare in Iceland. Probably the most memorable accommodation from our whole trip.

The place is super quiet and close to a mountain, very relaxing. It was also easy and quick to do the checking. Just as a tip please bring some food before doing the checking, as you will need it there.
