Amazing house with lots of space, very well equiped kitchen, laundry, a hot tub and great terrace. A natural hot pool is on the other side of the road. Make sure to bring enough food for your stay, there's no supermarket around. We were lucky enough to get three consecutives nights with northern lights.

Hagi is a very small farm area with a church.

Hagi is a very small farm area with a church. There's no restaurant, grocery store or gas station nearby. It's a nice place to stay, but make sure you are not low on gas or food supply as the nearest town (Patreksfjörður) is 30 minutes away, and you have to ascend the highland in between. The other gas station is in Flókalundur, but it's still 20 minutes away, although you won't be crossing through a highland.

We really enjoyed staying at this cottage.

We really enjoyed staying at this cottage. It is located on a farm, with a beautiful view of fjords and the beach. So quiet and peaceful! Check in was very easy. Maria was a great host and even contacted me to let me know I had left a thermos there. We cooked dinner at the cottage, which had all the essentials to cook and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
