The house is right outside the town of Egilsstadir, very easy to find. We were met by a very friendly owner and his two lovely dogs. He was extremely helpful and the house was truly a gem! Decorated with old-style furniture, but very cosy, clean and it has a hot tub outside with an amazing view! We wish we could have stayed longer and can definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to spend time at East Iceland!

We booked the house when we were stranded in Seydisfjordur by a hurricane. The host was easy to reach out by phone and was very helpful in allowing us to stay inside the house a bit longer after the check out time so that we could figure out our plan.

The guesthouse was our favourite in Iceland (out of 10 accomodations). The room was large and quiet, and the kitchen was very well furnished. Everything was extremely clean. The guesthouse is situated just outside of Egillstadir, and it was a very convenient place to sleep while travelling towards Höfn. I can recommend this place to anyone, and I would surely rebook it.
