We didnt meet the hosts but the communication went very smoothely including the checkin and checkout processes. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed! The welcoming waffles were a very nice gesture, thank you :) There is also available tea and hot chocolate. The eating area had an amazing view The toilets were clean at all times! The sink in the room was a great idea and very useful! There is a big nice hidden waterfall nearby, like a 5min walk. We also walked up hill near the guesthouse to enjoy a beautiful sunset behind the mountains :) Cant wait to come back there again for the nothern lights!

Don't listen to previous negative reviews, new owners are completely different. Had such a welcoming stay here, the lobby and dining room have the most amazing hygge vibe. Staff amazingly welcoming, lovely dinner and breakfast. Felt like a stay with family and friends. Rooms super comfy, clean. Hot tub is great.

We loved our stay at the cute, cozy, and very Icelandic cabin at the Magma Hotel. It felt very private, and the view of the lake and woods and horses across the lake were superb. Our buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of tasty variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
