Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm. The hotel handled the situation very amenably. Good food in the hotel and also at the café and village shop in Breiddalsvik itself, which is about 5 km away. Fantastic scenery all round. We arrived towards the end of dinner service, however, we still managed to get hot dinner at this hotel, which we consider luck. Very friendly and polite staff. The room was fine, we've got the one towards the rear end of the hotel, thus super calm (we were able to sleep with open windows without any noise from the outside).
