This is a real farm, with an incredible location, super quiet and peaceful. The rooms are comfortable, the shared bathrooms are clean and the common kitchen is well stocked. It was a great e experience going to bed and waking up to the incredible views.

First time staying in hostel, wasnt sure how all works regarding shared things,information was provided yes and all read. Very happy that you still had your personal little house and toilet. Location was perfect ,stayed one night and very affordable,if needed would definetely come back.

Definitely a memorable experience and would even dare to say, a mandatory stop on your Icelandic roadtrip. Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). We traveled out east for one night and were just looking for somewhere to lay our heads for the evening. Everyone there was so friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised at how cozy the rooms felt. We arrived at night and had no clue how amazing the views were until the sun rose in the morning. Stunningly beautiful views.
