I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Queens Heritage Resort! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. The breakfast was very delicious even thought they dint have a buffet due to less rooms being booked. But they made it up with the breakfast and stunning view of the valley from the breakfast area. the staff were well attentive to every need of ours and they also paid attention to every little detail. Staffs are Amazing really, My Son 1st Birthday came on exactly on the day of Staying here. The hotel staffs around 10 of them joined with us for the Cake Cuts took pictures, made our Son 1st Birthday Celebration Amazingly well. Room Size was very Big & Happy for the Same. A beautiful tourist destination near Bangalore. This could be an alternative to Ooty or Coorg which are always over crowded. Weather was awesome, place provides good sightseeing like Pagoda Point, Killiyur Falls, Lake etc. The best part was Peeku Park - dont miss this. Sky Park also has good activities for kids. There are some cool restaurants to explore in Yercaud. Basil Bakehouse, Sheveroys Signature are a few good ones. Chocolates shopping is not to be missed. Kids enjoyed the trip & so as we.

Yercaud is a small hill station with limited sightseeing spots, but what truly sets it apart is its extraordinary climate. Even during the peak of summer, you’ll experience cool breezes, a cloudy sky, and occasional unexpected showers that make the atmosphere incredibly refreshing. While the number of tourist attractions might leave you wanting more, the serene environment and natural charm more than make up for it. A day or two is perfect to explore and enjoy what Yercaud has to offer without feeling rushed. The roads are well-maintained, and the scenic drive through lush greenery adds to the overall experience. However, the food scene is average—you may not find high-quality or diverse options, so plan accordingly if you're particular about meals.

Nice place , excellent weather and most important less crowded unlike Ootty / Kodaikanal. Since , I reached there in the evening and spend only one night couldn't explore the place , the way I wanted.

It's a nearest hill station from Bangalore, someone can actually go Yercaud with an Activa or scooty from Bangalore. Will recommend Yercaud as a weekend getaway for people from Bangalore and Tamilnadu

After 20 Hairpins drive you reach Yarcaud.

After 20 Hairpins drive you reach Yarcaud. Try to check in hotel at least by 12 PM, else extend stay for one more night to enjoy the cool weather (Google for best time). There are no five star hotels over there, prices may in range of INR 2000 - 7000 / 2 pax. Enjoyed: 20 Hairpins roads (descending at 20km/hr speed to enjoy beautiful nature) All hill top view points Boating at Lake Peeku park Skypark and Poppy hills (expensive INR 1000/pax) Food at Saravanan bhavan Elite

The place itself is one of a kind. The hotel is built around nature. Trees are literally going through the terrace roof in some places. You can walk around the hotel complex, go up and down the stairs, find a bench or try the swing and just enjoy trees, birds, frogs at night, flowers, etc. It was misty when I was there, and although I miss out on the view, the atmosphere was so very special. I love it! Be mindful of the very curvy road to get there. A spectacle in itself, also witnessing locals driving habits. 😉

If you are looking for a hotel in Yercaud, just go for it. The people at the reception were warm and welcoming and helped me to make this stay a nice one. Clean room (very clean indeed), Clean bathroom (with functional heater), Smart TV, Comfy bed. Most importantly, nice view and easily accessible from Yercaud lake (which is the centre). I stayed just one night but it was pleasant and worth every penny. I am very much satisfied 😌

Best thing about Sterling Yercaud is the Location. Situated close to the Ladies seat tourist attraction, it has all the valley facing rooms and the view is beautiful. We visited in late may and it was misty and foggy all throughout our stay. Food is decent.
