We really enjoyed the opportunity to stay with a warm, welcoming family. Vijeesh helped us see everyday life inside this small community - so much better than busier, touristy places up the coast. They help you arrange boat/kayak tours and makes sure you are safe and comfortable the entire time, they made my stay in the island truly memorable. This is a great place to stay, it's relaxing, the hosts are awesome and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good value for money. Provided breakfast and dinner, lunch as well if you wanted. There was a bike you could hire for a little trek round the island, and it's a good way to get around the place. I've stayed in a lot of places in India over the last 3 months, and this was one of the best.

So serene! Lovely hosts, beautiful location, amazing food. Sunaina was so good at telling me about history and places. The riverside with my own table was a magical place to be. The fisherman rowing in and selling the catch he just got out of the river to the hosts was a moment to see, and says all about how good the cooking was with the freshest ingredients. Very comfortable bed and I was taken care of in every way. I will stay here again and would recommend warmly.
