Exceptional property both in style, design & architecture, fully modern but utterly traditional Indian. Helpful well trained staff, but mostly it felt relaxed & homely in a way few hotels achieve. Jaigarh palace hotel, being on a height, has its advantages as compared to other hotels in the area. It offers a beautiful view of the hills, other hotels, and the winding road on both sides. The hotel has 2 large terraces where you can sip tea or eat your meals while viewing the hills. The staff is very courteous and make you feel at home. The only drawback is that one has to climb steps since there is no elevator. Although we liked to climb the steps, this could be an issue for somebody with a hip-knee problem.
