I recently had the pleasure of staying at Misty Mountain Resorts, and I am compelled to share my wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charm and beauty of this place. The resort is nestled amidst nature's wonders, offering breathtaking views of waterfalls cascading down the mountains and a serene dam in the distance. The climate was simply perfect, with a gentle mist enveloping the surroundings, creating a magical atmosphere that added to the overall charm of the place. One of the highlights of my stay was the opportunity to explore the nearby waterfalls, a truly mesmerizing experience. The sound of cascading water and the lush greenery around created a tranquil ambiance that rejuvenated my senses. The resort's proximity to the dam allowed for leisurely walks, providing ample opportunities to admire the scenic beauty of the area. I also had the chance to embark on a thrilling safari at a surprisingly affordable rate. The safari offered a close encounter with the region's wildlife, making it a memorable adventure. The manager and staff at Misty Mountain Resorts deserve special commendation for their exceptional hospitality. Their polite and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. Their unwavering support and attentive service truly enhanced my stay. In summary, Misty Mountain Resorts is a gem nestled in the heart of nature, offering a perfect blend of scenic beauty, adventure, and warm hospitality. Wonderful homestay with very kind and attentive hosts, all rooms are much new, but for the incredible balcony view ask for the upper floor room if available. If not so far from where I live I would go back there once a month to relax.

My experience at EaglesGlide Resort in Parunthumpara was incredible. The premium villa provided a high-quality stay with stunning views of tea estates. The private waterfall was a hidden gem. If you come to stay at this home stay you will be treated to the most warm and personal hospitality from the owner Mr Jobby. The views from the rooms are incredible overlooking the family tea plantation. Take some time in the morning to listen the cacophony of bird song from your balcony. The food served here is top notch. One of the many highlights of our stay was meeting Mr Jobby’s friends one who runs a small spice shop (much more authentic than the numerous large spice shop enterprises in the area) and another, a school friend, whose family grow cardamoms and process them for other local growers. I urge you to spend a couple of nights here, you will not be disappointed.

Friendly and quite informative owner couple Deol n Anju , they will guide you properly how to reach the property, Friendly n hard working staff especially Ajmal, Excellent peaceful tranquil location , no sound or air pollution. Food is tasty and very reasonably priced . They are ready to arrange whatever we ask . Only 3 cottages nested in woods, you rarely see any other human being , food is served at cottage except breakfast , bonfire barbecue and music will be arranged at a specific location at extra price …. Cheery on top is A Beautiful waterfall flowing through the property not approachable by outsiders . We really really had a very great memorable time , 4 days after returning also moments n joy are circling in our minds .

A bit removed from the hustle of the Vagamon town.

A bit removed from the hustle of the Vagamon town. Is great if you want less busy roads and quieter environment. Can visit Panchalimedu hill station, Green Meadows, Pine Forest, Murugan Mala, Pattumala and many waterfalls nearby. There are opportunities for beautiful waterfall treks as well. Don't miss out on the top hill views of the western ghats. Thekkady is also only a short drive away.
