Truly Special Retreat Our stay at Mharo Khet was an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we arrived, there was a sense of calm and stillness that made us feel instantly at ease — it’s the kind of place that gently slows you down and lets you reconnect with yourself. The spaces are beautifully thought through — elegant, earthy, and in perfect harmony with the farm around them. The little design touches stood out to us: handmade rugs, pottery, mother-of-pearl inlaid tables, and open decks with rocking chairs where you can sit and watch the colors of dawn and dusk unfold. Everything felt authentic and personal, never overdone, and yet so comfortable. What made it even more special were the experiences woven into daily life here — like starting the morning with a soothing champi (head massage), or trying our hand at weaving a traditional charpoy with the team. These small, thoughtful touches brought us closer to the spirit of the place. And the food… absolutely unforgettable. Each meal felt like a celebration of the farm — inventive, fresh, and full of flavor. Dining here is not just eating, it’s a journey that lingers with you. Overall our experience was great and I’m so happy we chose Mharo Khet for our getaway. I can’t wait to be back to immerse in their experiences and soak in the culture they offer.

the host were very kind to receive me from the station ☺️ the property is exactly as shown in the pictures, infact even more pretty in real life :) the family is just very sweet and took care of anything that i needed. i would happily come here again :)

Amazing hotel, beautiful decor, great ambiance, very friendly staff.

Loved how the rooms had been done with the black and white tiled flooring and stained glass windows. The owner Poonam and his family were so welcoming, wonderful and kind people. A proper family run business. The room was large and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The location was perfect for us with good restaurants nearby, plenty of little shops and close to several attractions (just a few minutes walk from the step well and the clock tower and very close to the fort). We loved our stay and will definitely be back the next time we’re visiting Jodphur.

This was by far the best accommodation experience my mother and I have had across all of our travels—even now, she's wishing out loud we could go back. Our number one highlight, though: Vikram's dedication to his business and hospitality went far beyond any expectations we could've had. He helped us book the best day trips, find the best food, and all in all have the very best experience we could have possibly had in Jodhpur. We went on a beautiful excursion to the desert, had a lovely rooftop dinner, played Holi right in the heart of the town, ate the yummiest sweets/street food, and saw the inner lanes of the beautiful Blue City (expertly guided by Vikram himself, out of the kindness of his boundless heart). Every day, he asked our plans for the day, and arranged everything in a heartbeat so that it would all go smoothly. His care was so incredibly genuine and made us feel like we were actually family, without any sort of insincerity or transactionality in sight. His dedication to his guests and his craft is unlike anything we have ever seen, and it has left us incredibly grateful. We couldn't have had a better time in Jodhpur, and, in our short stay, it felt like we really got the chance to get to know the city. On a more general level, the hostel could not be better located—right next to the stepwell and a stone's throw from the bustling clock tower. The city is most alive there—we booked another stay to get another experience and are missing the haveli severely. The food at Jhankar is absolutely delicious, and all of the staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. It is a beautiful old house, and our room had these gorgeous rustic features and details. We also had a lovely balcony with a view of the fort—it might be there we first fell in love with Jodhpur. Not to mention, the house also has a gorgeous rooftop!

the property itself is gorgeous, and our room had a clear view of the fort. the rooms are very clean and beautiful and the service is exceptional - from the waiters to the reception, to the drivers and tour guide arranged by the hotel. we had a wonderful stay and were sad to leave. will definitely stay here again!

The grandeur is out of this world . But what makes me love that place every time I am there is the hospitality . The care shown to us from everyone spl the old staff : Sikandar ji , Sajjan ji , Siddique ji , Aryan Sisodia and many many others from kitchen dep specially was absolutely out of this world. My most favourite place in this entire world .

The room was wonderful, amazing location with best views of Jodhpur.very authentic and friendly. Great air con which was definitely appreciated. Breakfast was freshly made pancakes and paratha with owners.
