What a beautiful choice for our accommodation in Jaisalmer. The loving and respectful way they have brought back this magnificent building is to be proud of. Mixing heritage with modern amenities. It’s outside of the old center and fort so it’s quieter which is the main reason I chose to stay, but there’s so many more reasons. It’s a beautiful place built as a modern take on a traditional house. The rooms a spacious and had everything I needed, and the food was clean and after a few days there the stomach problems I’d picked up in Delhi where pretty much gone. Jitendra, the owner is great. Super friendly and he helped to arrange a brilliant bespoke Thar desert tour that I thought came in at a very reasonable price. I would 100% stay again if I found myself in Jaisalmer

What a genuine accommodation - outside the tourist area but in the fantastic fort! Clean and well-functioning Wi-Fi and fantastic service. The owner Deepak offered to be a guide, we accepted and during our four days we received constant service and my three children and I felt like royalty. We got to experience "all" the greatness of Jaisalmer with everything from camel safaris, village visits, historical and cultural sights, shopping to nice people meetings. This at a significantly lower price than, for example, Tripadvisor could offer in advance. Yes of course higher than "local price" but good "tourist price". This was our first destination on our India trip but Deepak was and remains our number 1 guide! He initially wanted us to have good memories and that's exactly what we got! Be calm, be nice and smile was his recommendation wich I find meaningful. Many warm thanks for everything 😊

very clean and relax place!! the staff is so nice and helpful. they arrange everything for you! super room: comfortable, clean, nice smell, good bed and bathroom! nice rooftop terrace for dinner and breakfast. It's was awesome experience to stay in Hotel Desert. I never expected that kind of room I got only 800 rs. I would like to spical thanks for the hotel owner. he is so helpful and lovely person. I enjoyed his company and getting so many knowledge about fort. Resort food was so delicious 😋.

An excellent property. The overall experience was too good. Our room was upgraded to super deluxe. The staff were really cooperative. The owner of the property was very helpful. We took suggestions from him to plan our day trips in and around Jaisalmer. Overall a pleasant stay.

They offer Free pickup from the train station , it's a new hotel and super clean ! . We checked out and left our baggage at the hotel to go to the desert safari . The day after they offered us a room(for free) for some hours to take a shower and be ready for our train.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic. There are lots of tourists-- the entire entrance to the great fort is mobbed by tourists and tourist shops and hustlers. Despite that, the magic of this desert city survives. It is a gem, beautiful beyond imagining. I hope we can return someday. The opportunity for a desert adventure-- jeep through the rocky paths, camel ride, dinner cooked over an open fire, the silence of the desert at night-- was delightful. Our driver, Ukka, was skilled and fun to be with.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city. Full of charm and very friendly locals. Jaisalmer Fort is my favorite spot. The architecture, views from roof top and the food all are incredible. A must visit site in Rajasthan.

    The fort exceeded expectations. An amazing structure.

    The fort exceeded expectations. An amazing structure. The trip to the desert with camel trekking for a couple of nights was a good option. People are very friendly and everything is so colourful. The Haveli buildings and Jain temples are a must see. Tuk tuk travel around is easy and most things are walking distance.

    This has been absolutely the best hotel we stayed during our travel in Rajasthan. So clean and well furnished, it looks like a comfortable and well designed apartment bedroom more than just an hotel, which is absolutely a plus for us! We had a very good breakfast (even with moka, you know, as Italians we appreciate that a lot!) in the wonderful rooftop terrace, with a beautiful view of Jaisalmer! We totally recommend it!

    They really care about customers here and it’s such a nice place. We got treated like it was a 5 star hotel whilst here. The manager was a bit late and one of his colleagues brought me a Diet Coke whilst I waited. They always made sure we had water and anything we needed. The room was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in in India. Just a really nice experience.
