Amazing oasis of green, tranquility, beautiful temples and dancing peacocks. This walled garden is loaded with history and modern comfort. Lovely rooms with all you need. Watching the peacocks from your terrace is a really nice bonus!

Really nice hotel. I did not have high expectations given the very reasonable cost but my room was so nice - extremely big, extremely clean and the bed was super comfy. I had dinner there too, really good food and not overpriced. Best of all, the staff. Such a nice crew, very polite, extremely helpful in every way they could be. Special thanks to Tosif and Kaushal, absolute stars!

The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was outstanding. This is a beautiful property with spacious rooms, manicured lawns, fine decorations, and every imaginable convenience. The evening Ganesh Aarti was wonderful. I would definitely come back.

The Fort is really beautiful.

The Fort is really beautiful. You need a guide to understand the subtleties. The Jai Vilas Palace is one of the best curated museums - the building is by itself stunning, the curation of every room done with clear historical and aesthetic intent. And Tansen and Md. Gauss's tomb - a hidden quiet gem in the middle of a crazy market And Kothari Sons - a lovely place to get your fix of Chanderi sarees.

Fort and Sound & Light programme was good.

Fort and Sound & Light programme was good. Some part of the City is clean the other very dirty and ill maintained. Railway station is in terrible shape. Escalator at the platform Nbr. 1 was not working causing hardship to senior citizens and passengers with luggage to move to other far off platforms.

Gwalior is a must visit place.Do not forget to see the oldest written 0(zero) which settles the debate who gave the world zero. The light and sound show is one of the best.Surely engage a proper guide.

There are many rockcut Jain monuments around the Fort in...

There are many rockcut Jain monuments around the Fort in Gwalior and it is difficult to find out where they are. I found out too late that there were more than the Urwai rockcut sculptures. However, asking people protecting the monument on the road up to the fort, we had time to visit another spectacular site further down the hillside. They are all magical - so sad that muslims/ moguls have defaced many of them. The fort itself, along with the temples outside the fort, were outstanding - beautiful carvings and, in the case of the fort, colourful facades. Fort is sadly a bit run down. Just below the fancy gate by the palace is the Jain rock-cut temple with "0" in an inscription - pretty little temple. Tansen's tomb was also a lovely site. Plenty to see for 2 days. I need to go back to see the remaining Jain rock cut monuments as our driver couldn't find them.

Gwalior has many places to visit. Start with Gwalior Fort Keep 1.5-2 hours for Gwalior Fort. 3 tickets of RS. 25/-= each ( 20/= if paid online ) ( If keen on Archaelogical Museum- you can pay Rs. 5 and adiitionally see ancient antiques ) One for Man Mandir/Teli Mandir / Sahastra Bahu Temple - State Ticket Second for Other Palaces, Jauhar Kund etc - Central Govt. Ticket Third Ticket for Gujri Mahal Museum ( It is downstairs when you get down the hill ) Sun temple - No fees , newly constructed Tansen Tomb/Mohd Ghaus Tomb - No fees Jai Vilas Palace Museum - Rs. 300/= ticket 1-2 hours visit duration. Railway Station is in city centre Park Inn Hotel is opposite the station. DB City Mall is opp the Railway Station. Taj Usha Kiran Hotel is 2.8 kms from Station.

HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND AT GOOD LOCATION. STAFF GAURSV, RAVI SINGH, RIPON - HOUSEKEEPING, SANTOSH, ANIULYA, SARIM - DINNING ROOM, YASHWANT, RAVI, MUSKAN, KHBINO AND PRANMOD. RECPTION DESK JIYA, RIVYA, SAKSHI, LAVISHA AND SHAM ALL OF THEM WERE VERY GOOD WITH OTHER STAFF.

The room and the bathroom were very large, the breakfast, as well as the dinner, are served in the room (we had the room at the rooftop, so eating outside was with a good view), and they were very good and with a good chioce. The hotel structure was really particular and beautiful. The staff has always bene very nice with us. Extremely suggested for visiting Gwalior!

Amazing ambience and decor, a real heritage/boutique hotel vibe, especially with the lovely, peaceful garden. The hotel is set back a bit from the road, so the traffic beeping was only just slight background noise. Absolutely excellent staff, the owners were super helpful and the cook made excellent, made to order meals.

An awesome place to stay and break journey or if you're headed to Gwalior to check places out. Rooms are large and the beds comfortable and the facilities superb. Living up to the Radisson Blue promise even though it's just a Radisson ;-)
