When I booked my stay here, I expected it to be like any other hotel, but I was taken by surprise. The hospitality provided by this hotel was more than I had expected. The rooms are very clean and the view is amazing. We can see the entire Kanchenjunga range from the hotel. This is a family-owned business so guests are taken extra care of. Lots of complimentary tea and snacks are provided by the owners who personally make sure your stay is super comfortable and better than expected. They respond to you very quickly and make sure everything is up to the mark. Such a high level of care and service for such a low price cannot be found anywhere else. This is the best property to stay at while traveling to Darjeeling.

The lush garden was perfect for a peaceful stroll, and the view of the mountains was absolutely spectacular. A true royal heritage —peaceful, grand, and unforgettable. Be careful about less width roads sometimes get too bumpy or steep upside and some pathholes could be dangerous if you have not 4x4 veh like bolero,tata sumo gold apart from it takes APPX 3 min to cover 1km pl keep in mind

Excellent stay at Himalok Homestay.

Excellent stay at Himalok Homestay. Mr Sagar Pradhan and Sashi was very much cooperative and very nice host. They took care about all our small to small requirements and fulfilled all our demands in a very efficient and in a polite manner. The couple are very friendly and they made us feel like a home away from home. Best place in respect to connectivity to all places with sharing taxis and vehicles. Best part of the property is the breath taking view of Mount Kanchenjunga from its balcony which is simply the best view in comparison to all the places in Darjeeling. Home cooked food by Sashi was very delicious and healthy. This homestay made our trip memorable. This homestay is highly recommended for all those who are interested to visit to Darjeeling.

Everything, right from staff behaviour to food. Very generous staff. Dom di , the owner, is sweet. Also Jigmi, one of the staff helped us. The location is near batasia loop, so it's away from Darjeeling crowd and there is some quiet as well. Local taxis to Darjeeling and everywhere is available right opposite the hotel. Commute is good. The rooms are clean and well maintained . We can see toy train views from our room.

The stay at Darjeeling Heights Homestay was wonderful and so was the view from the hotel. The most amazing thing was the behavior of the staff there. They were very welcoming and nice. We really enjoyed our stay there and the staff really made it very homely. The spacious property is very tastefully decorated which made the ambience warm and cozy. And last but not least, the cooking was very delicious.

Every tick possible for good reasons.. Literally everything was beyond expectation. Hotel is very good located at the lap of mountains with a very good view(from the common balcony though). The rooms are cosy, hotel staff very caring and honest, at their toes to serve you. Even the owners were present for anything you could ask for. I will definitely visit this hotel if I plan for darjeeling again.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting darjeeling, it near to the main shopping hub and nearby to all attractions around as well as the view from our room was mesmerising, the name lives up to it and the view of the summit from the summit is just wonderful.
