I booked The Isle as its close to the airport.  We had a late incoming flight and we didn't want too long a journey into the city.  So glad we did.  Its a beautiful house with lovely traditional woodwork and renovated with modern touches.  The gardens are lush and peaceful.  The bed was huge and comfortable with excellent a/c and a powerful ceiling fan.  The pool was lovely and clean and refreshing.  We were cooked a delicious masala omelette with fresh fruit for breakfast.  We were offered a home cooked dinner but unfortunately we had made other arrangements.  This isn't a typical purpose built hotel.  It's unique and charming as are the family.  Thank you

Initially, I was not too eager upon arrival. BUT, it provided everything I expected - hot water, TV, AC, very comfy bed, fridge. Zero complaints from me! Actually, for the price, EXCELLENT.

    Not a destination I would recommend unless you love tacky bars on the beach with glaring lights and loud music. Very busy beach and not very clean. I wish I had not wasted 4 nights there. A few good places to eat in this very small town. No sights to see here.

    the place is away from hustle and bustle of Panji. Someone who wants to enjoy peaceful vacation, enjoy the beach, the resort property, Colva beach is perfact. There are few water sport related activities also which can be done here. Good beachside small restaurants are also available.

    It depends what you want.

    It depends what you want. I've been there several times as I have worked in India and it's very convenient for a short break before returning to the UK.There are a lot more tourists than there were even 5 years ago but it's the same nearly everywhere. The south of Goa is quieter and I guess so are parts of Kerala if you want beach but I haven't been for ages so not the best judge. There's a good choice of restaurants in Colva and the ATM usually works. You can walk around it in a very short time. There are lots of tourist shops selling the same stuff as every other tourist place in India. It's easy to get to from the airport. I go because I just want a short break in a convenient location with a clean beach.To be honest there are much more interesting places to see in India but they are not beach places. If you want beach go to S.E.Asia! Colva is fine but not "real" India.

    We are not sunbathers, so felt Colva was geared up for people who didn’t want to do much. There are loads of really good restaurants in Colva. They might not always look as Europeans expect, but when you go in even the smallest family restaurant the food is superb. You don’t need to pay hotel prices for food.

    Colva-South Goa has peaceful,serene beaches.

    Colva-South Goa has peaceful,serene beaches. It is not as congested as North Goa. The new roads make travel to north goa a breeze. We enjoyed food at Boomerang beach restaurant. Ensure you take mosquito repellent. Colva is situated near to other south Goa locations & it is easy to travel to North Goa.

    Value for money was good.A bit long to walk to the beach .but there are buses that go to madgaon.we had tea which very tasty near by.not much rush at the beach.comfortable stay.3rd floor was given to us.next time ground floor I need being senior dona pav,churches,beaches,greenery arround,.we had food in panje karat hotel.it was good.best was near madgaon fish curry.too costly for vehicles arround.we are normal people south Indians too much pricy.

    Everything was excellent. The owner was very friendly & the place was neat & clean with all the necessary amenities. It felt very homely. Close to Colva beach & you will find a lot of departmental & restaurants near you. If you have a car, it's a 1 hour drive to north goa as well. Everything in the Villa was in working condition, peaceful locality. All of us felt in love with this property. Wifi was provided, there were even small notes to guide & remind us of every detail.

    The location of the Resort is right on the beach. The dining area gives full view of the sea and food is good. The guests have to reach Colva Beach, hardly one Km from the resort, then a 4x4 vehicle takes you to the Resort through a somewhat forested area meandering through a sandy road. The vehicle service is very prompt and available 24 hrs. The beach is very clean, pristine and beautiful.

    This is the best hotel by far that we have stayed at in Goa. It is spotlessly clean, rooms and all over the complex, the pool is wonderful and the immaculate gardens to die for. The staff are so welcoming, we were sorry to leave and will visit again for sure.
