Our best stay in india so far (3weeks). The relaxed place is very beautiful and peaceful. The personal was exremely helpful with everything. (Arrengements, transport, breakfast,guiding etc). Very much family-feeling, and very much appreciated. The rooms and Gardens is fresh and very clean.

Absolutely superb boutique accommodation, right on the Backwaters... best so far. We had 2 rooms and the very welcome plunge pool. Everything about the place was serene and relaxing. David is a wonderful host, and we enjoyed chatting with him about his experiences in our country, Ireland. Anish was extremely helpful, especially on arrival after our long journey. We did kayaking, and canal tour from the accommodation and really enjoyed these. The location is sublime...right on the river. I'll never forget that sunrise. We enjoyed a delicious home-cooked dinner on the deck. Just book it!!

An exceptional experience! This was an trip to remember for many years. A wonderful landscape and environment in the Kerala Backwaters and the trip on the boat captured all of the beauty and majesty of the area - both the wildlife and the villages, churches and of course the people. The boat was beautifully furnished, with very comfortable bedrooms and an area at the front of the boat to relax and lounge and watch the scenery go by. The food was outstanding prepared by a sympathetic and knowledgeable chef, who was always at hand to discuss the menu for the next meal and to tell us about the cuisine. The crew were unfailingly helpful and courteous. All of this contributed to one of the best holiday trips that we have ever had.

The place was beautiful, a gorgeous garden right on the backwaters with a lovely view of the sunset. The rooms were very attractive and clean. The family were so friendly and kind. They fed us amazing Kerala food and showed us so many interesting things. They helped us organise a great boat trip. This is the best place we stayed during our whole trip - amazing.

This is the perfect stay if you are looking for time in nature and the backwaters. Room is comfortable, clean, and with AC - so you can relax perfectly in the room. The balcony is great too and offers direct view on the littler river. The host Lizza is kind and fun, always there to help, Plan trips, cook food for you. The whole house is so beautiful, so you will enjoy having breakfast/dinner on the long table in the Main hall. This place seems suitable for anyone: alone-traveller, backpackers, couples, familys with kids. They have a garden to hang out too! And best part: its only 10sec walk to the starting point of your boat trip (Lizza will arrange)! Then you can discover lakes, big rivers, small rivers and village life in the backwaters. Ask Lizza for a TukTuk (Autoriksha) drive through the little streets through this area, so you will see more small rivers with plants, more village life, rice plantages and local life :) This is the place to be! Its perfect for taking a walk too :) Thanks Lizza!

    The staycation experience was disappointing.

    The staycation experience was disappointing. The access road to the property was extremely narrow and muddy, making it hard for even one car to reach. Although the host Rajeev claimed space for 15 cars, parking even one was a struggle. The host’s attitude was unhelpful, and the staff didn’t assist properly with our luggage. To add to it, there were no outdoor lights, making it very difficult to navigate in the dark. Overall, not a pleasant experience but a good view
