During the day, take a trip by ferry to the Elephanta Island with its caves and then spend the evening people watching on Chowpatty Beach in the south or Juhu Beach in the west.

I grew up in Mumbai. Lots of fond memories. Great city with great work culture, nice shopping, restaurants, reasonable weather. Infrastructure is a dampener but the Mumbai spirit is helpful, indomitable and never gives up.
My favourite place in Mumbai is Bandra. It has glamour, the sea, lovely quaint Christian bungalows that builders have always been trying to acquire, lovely eating and drinking places, great bookshops, a super cool attitude and a generally friendly and helpful public.

The people are wonderful - if you want to feel like royalty, go to Mumbai! It's easy to get taxis at reasonable prices and everything is great value when compared to how much we pay for things in England.

Mumbai is a vibrant and bustling city, at times claustrophobic and not for the faint hearted. However, it is well a worth a visit and a unique experience. Fort in particular is a lovely area.
It's easy to get by on the metro, with a new line being added that goes from the airport to the centre. Otherwise, uber is your best bet for an affordable taxi.
The city is very loud and busy and there is not really a quieter area. But this is all part of the charm!
We liked eating at anna idli and 100% veg thali restaurants. We also went to aram for a vada pav - must try in Mumbai!

This hotel truly lives up to the Taj brand and what defines a 5 star hotel. Exquisite treatment right from the moment we walked into the lobby until we checked out. During our stay we had breakfast at the hotel daily and utilised the spa multiple times and the service was impeccable in both and throughout the hotel. Combined with the hotel’s ideal location, this makes it a perfect choice for anyone coming to Mumbai for any purpose.

Choice of restaurants within 2 mins walk + 15 mins drive to Intnl Airport - during peak hours Mumbai traffic. uber location : Opposite Sugun multi-speciality hospital. Hotel itself is above Unity Finance Bank and board reads Konak Hotel (and NOT Best hotel).Slightly confusing but still nothing major.

Staff were most accommodating. Facilities were 5 star, not sure why they are rated 4 star. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Rooms were spacious and clean. Shower was great. Loved everything about this hotel and its close proximity to the airport.

Amazing 5 star hotel, very quite in the middle of Mumbai. Rooftop pool gives you possibilty to relax in a quite place.
The stuff really looked for how to help at each possible occasion and very proactive.

Staff, facilities and location. I stayed in 5 stars hotels in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Kochi during my trip in India and can affirm that Trident is definitely the best in terms of quality services
