Bekal is a beautiful place but the biggest task is to reach...
Bekal is a beautiful place but the biggest task is to reach there from bangalore....we traveled via madikeri it was very tiring journey due to ghats...but decent roads through deep forest is something good to remember of the travel...overall it's a place for relaxation without much hustle....if you are looking for activities & nightlife then it's not the place.

Bakal is just an awesome place to visit. this place has attractions for all age groups. mountains to Trek, back waters, the Fort, beach & so many temples to visit. Local transport is very comfortable. train connectivity from all the places. Local people are supportive.

Taj Hospitality needs no introduction. Just out of the world. Albin, Sujay, Jason, Tanuja and many others just made our stay comfortable and so homely. The room was so pretty and the spa made me feel so comfortable, that I have no words to describe it. The restaurant By the Bay is a must visit. The property with its lovely confidence of backwaters and the sea presents such a unique sight. The cycling ride around Bekal was superb.

The location is amazing right next to Bekal fort.. loved the greenary n the peacocks in the resorts. Clean toilets and good ambience. The way to the beach could be well maintained so the guest can go in anytime as it was filled with too many weeds n pathway was not clear. A stand to dry clothes n a shower outside in the resort to use after coming from the beach would be really good. Staff was really good and always available.

Property is located just outside the Bekal fort, staff is well trained and cooperative. Rooms were neat and clean with all the basic amenities.
