one of the best locations to stay at Matheran . 15 minutes from the local toy train. 30 minutes from the parking lot. I personally suggest anyone travelling to Matheran take a toy train and not the horse which costs unnecessary money. west end hotel has one of the best buffet and serves great meals for breakfast and lunch as well as dinner. personal preference:- Buffet Friendly staff and overall quality stay

We booked the hotel during our stay for Coldplay coming from Sri Lanka we weren’t very sure if our booking would be available as there were so many hotel cancellations as we couldn’t make a prepayment supporting the payment method here in India.. but hotel manger was very helpful and very accommodating he guaranteed my booking and made sure both my rooms were ready when I arrived.
