Karan is a great host. He took care of our transfers in/out, and made all the necessary to ensure a nice stay. The room with view to the lake is very nice, as well as the rooftop bar/restaurant. The room was clean. The location is good. The breakfast is really nice.

i really enjoyed my stay at the Island tower guest house, it's a charming place where the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. Mr. Beehm Singh is probably the best host i had on my India journey. The building itself is older but was recently fully re-designed and has been painted by amazing artists. Every room/suite is different and the artwork looks even better in real then on the fotos.it gives you the feeling of being a Maharaja in his royal chambers. i enjoyed breakfast and dinner here on the lovely rooftop terrace. the food was freshly prepared and delicious!

Staff was very helpful: Nitesh at the reception gave us great recommendations and Pavarn at the restaurant helped much with food recommendation. The location is exceptional: about 2 minutes walk from the castle and the views from the rooftop... stunning. The high tea with the sunset view was definitely a highlight of our stay.

We loved everything about this place. The furnishings, the spacious interior, the delicious breakfast, the friendly service. We loved everything about our stay…the location right in the Center of Udaipur means most things are walkable (a rarity in India!). The property itself is >300 yrs old and full of character, sensational lighting, colours, and above all wonderful staff members…breakfast and dinner is excellent, and their smile goes a long way. GM Sunil is very chatty, and kindly showed us around his recently opened 2nd property Madri Haveli Retreat (right next door)…he also let us use the pool to cool down from the afternoon heat, which we appreciated a lot. Come and stay here, you will not be disappointed, splash out on the suite, you won’t regret it, it’s stunning at every time of the day. Thanks for the stay, for the anniversary cake and the kindness throughout.
