It was calming and quiet.
It was calming and quiet. Hot During the day but beautifully cool from the late afternoon until.the morning. There's enough to do for a few days stay. Good sources of food available from homemade breads, quiches, desserts and sandwiches to "al ha'esh to upscale. 2 1/2 hours drive from Jerusalem. The night sky tours are spectacular (except during full moon!) The MR visitors Center has a wonderful program, definitely worthwhile. Mitzpe Ramon has many unique features especially if you are a space enthusiast, thanks to low light pollution you can often see a shooting star. there are great extreme riding opportunities inside the creator. Mitzpe Ramon is magical.
Mitzpe Ramon is magical. You can enjoy a different view depending on the time of day. Make sure you get to see the sunset on the promenade and watch the mountains change colors. There are many trails - the easiest is to walk along the promenade. If you want to hike, make sure you take plenty of water and a good trail map. You can get info at the visitors center - which is well worth visiting. They have a lovely light show exhibition that explains how this erosion crater "machtesh" was formed. The crater is a geological wonder. It is also fun to see the ibexes (mountain goats) walking down the streets of the city.Guest review byHiking ReflexologistUnited States

Kitchen is equipped with the essentials - enough for a simple meal. Great to have a washer and drier. Plenty of storage space. Nice location too near the crater’s edge - easy to walk to the observation deck and visitors centre. A few restaurants in easy walking range. Parking is easy. Victoria is a really helpful host too. Our room also had access to a balcony with the possibility to sit outside. In the lobby there are some common sitting spaces where you can comfortably hang out with larger groups. Right under the hotel there is a little mall with a supermarket and some restaurants. There is public paid parking available right in front of the hotel. It’s a friendly, vibey and cosy place with very good energy and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a shared kitchen and plenty of hot water for the shower. It’s located in the arty Spice Quarter area of Mizpe Ramon which has cafes, restaurants and shops (best area to be in).
